She was pretty excited. A bit about my process: I started out with lots of sketching…and watching the movie over and over again. Any project that involves watching movies for research is a good one. Once I felt comfortable drawing all the [...] This project is two-fold. It is a logo redesign, and a poster done in the style of De Stijl (a Dutch movement from the early 20th century). via the coveted Today was a nice break from the norm. Instead of the usual (lots of schoolwork), I helped my friend redesign her bar corner. While doing that, I came across this amazing gin bottle. I love how they play off the image of the Empire State building, throughout the packaging and their ad campaign. ad used [...] This was created for the annual Rites of Spring celebration at Mt. Hood Community College. This year’s theme was “be a beachbum,” so the poster was themed accordingly. This is a poster advertising MHCC’s performance of Guys and Dolls. I illustrated it with a pinstripe suit and wingtip shoes, which goes with the time period. Those were the good ol’ days, man. |
