These are for a friend, and they just came off the needles today. They were quite the adventure. I ended up having to write my own pattern, since nothing I found was what I needed. Lets just say there was a lot of ripping out stitches and starting over again. Good thing I’m a patient person…sometimes.
The mitten cap is held back with a button from my vintage button collection. Otherwise it flops around like a wet noodle. Not exactly what my friend would want.
