This winter has been incredibly busy. It’s probably the busiest of my entire life. Would you like to know why? Drum roll please…. I’m getting married! Yep, you heard right. So instead, here are a [...] This has to be one of my favorites so far. via Rebecca Thuss Share/Save Today I got a chance to see the Da Vinci exhibit at OMSI. I wasn’t expecting it to be anything special, but boy was I wrong! It was like a crash course in engineering/art/history with the coolest teacher around. They took sketches from his notebooks (one of which is owned by Bill Gates, go figure) [...] This is not a photo of a miniature. Crazy, huh? Here you’ll find more, it’s called tilt-shift photography. It has something to do with the kind of lens they use (or photoshop trick), which makes the focus look like the photo was taken with a macro lens, something you’d use for miniatures. After I found [...] Here’s an interesting artist I found the other day. He does a lot of work with different types of cameras (pinhole, lomo, etc.), and not just what you’d expect. One of his latest projects was taking cheap plastic cameras and prettifying them. My favorite is this lego camera. lego camera Share/Save |
